ABOUT USThe FLI Group origins date back to 1989 when the business was founded by its current Executive Chairman and majority shareholder, Michael Flynn. FLI Global Limited sits at the top of the Group structure as the parent company.
Subsidiary companies Vertase FLI Limited, FLI Water Limited, FLI QDS Limited, FLI Precast Solutions Limited and FLI France SAS are active in contaminated land remediation, water and wastewater, off site concrete manufacturing and design, and geosynthetics solutions respectively.
The Group’s origins originate from the geosynthetics industry, providing engineered landfill lining and mining containment solutions in Ireland, UK, throughout Europe and globally on a project by project basis. With this business activity and with continuous reinvestment of profits FLI grew and was able to make the investments that have transformed the company to where it is today.
The FLI Group is now a diversified solutions provider in the broad based environmental services sector and has grown both organically and by acquisition, and is now comprised of several strategic platforms for growth, both geographically and by sector. Our services to our clients are based on a combination of knowledge, know how, technology and experience, gained over many years and many thousands of projects and delivered by our excellent management and staff.
In 2018 the FLI Group has entered the China environmental services market and has identified Chinese strategic partners and a China based JV company which will be engaged in contaminated land remediation in the largest environmental services market globally.

Overview
The FLI group’s activities are broadly organised in four divisions namely Soil Remediation, Water, Semi-Precast Concrete Engineering and Geosynthetics. Each business within every division operates independently as its own individual entity but with all the benefits of a larger group with a set of common goals and culture.
