What is the RPM Program?
The Responsible Plastic Management (RPM) Program is a unique training, verification and certification assurance initiative which acts as a catalyst for re-thinking, reducing, reuse and recycling of Plastics in business, supply chains, local communities and society. We measure and verify positive change related to plastic management.
Who are we?
The Responsible Plastic Management (RPM) Program is a not-for-profit organisation, established in the UK and operating internationally. RPM has been founded by a collection of plastic and sustainability certification experts from around the world for the benefit and protection of society, the ocean, water systems and the environment.
RPM Program has been established with the ambition to be the Global Responsible Plastic Management Assurance Program and Global Online Directory of engaged organisations who are taking responsibility of their plastic impact and footprint. The RPM Program is managed by a dedicated team with many years of service in the assurance and certification business. Verification activity is managed by established and recognised third party certification bodies with ISO accreditation credentials. We are an initiative based on positive engagement and partnerships; have recently engaged Lloyds Register as a strategic support partner.
Our aim is to help society to reduce plastic pollution to protect the environment and water systems and also to reduce unnecessary plastic use and its negative effect on climate change.
The RPM Program sets standards and promotes best practice in plastic management. We measure and verify plastic management efforts and we promote positive change and achievement.
RPM is open to all organisations and initiatives and it starts their journey to ‘Positive Change in Plastic Management’.
