SgurrEnergy is a leading renewable energy consultancy, providing engineering and technical advisory services in onshore and offshore wind, solar, wave and tidal and hydro projects. Our global team of over 250 engineers and consultants has extensive international experience, having worked on over 160GW of renewable energy developments worldwide.
Established in 2002 by Directors Ian and Steve, UK operations are based at our headquarters in Glasgow. Our first international office was opened in Beijing, China in 2006 followed by an office in Pune, India in 2007. We also have offices in Ireland (Dublin), France (Paris), Canada (Vancouver,Toronto and Montreal), USA (Portland, Maine and Austin, Texas), Norway (Stavanger), Brazil (Sao Paulo), Germany (Hamburg) and South Africa (Johannesburg).
In September 2010, SgurrEnergy became a Wood Group company, joining the Wood Group Kenny business unit. This supports our ongoing strategy to expand and enhance our renewable energy capability. Wood Group Kenny’s extensive offshore project experience, together with our specific renewable energy expertise and proprietary technology, will create a leading player in the renewable energy services sector.
