An opportunity for an experienced Arboricultural Consultant to join a successful environmental consultancy to support the team with their technical expertise. This role will require integration with the wider business, collaborating with directors and various practitioners on projects throughout ecology, green infrastructure, landscaping, and woodlands. Preferably operating out of the Northamptonshire office, with options for Oxfordshire also available.
The Role:
* Tree risk management: Preparation of management strategies, conducting tree surveys and recommending appropriate remedial works.
* Working to BS:5837 to address site issues: tree assessment, design, tree protection and mitigation
* Offering support and development on environmental projects for the wider business.
* Tree law: TPOs & Conservation Area, boundary trees and dispute resolution.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor's (or higher) degree in relevant subject; Aboriculture, Ecology, Conservation etc
* Excellent theoretical and technical experience.
* Excellent written and spoken English (essential for report writing)
* Understanding of relevant software’s (AutoCAD / GIS programmes)
* ICF Membership or Registered Consultant for Arboricultural Association.
* Full UK driving license.
