Senior Project Engineer

We're seeking a Senior Project Engineer with a keen interest in environmental and civil engineering to join a Waste and Environmental team in either their Cork or Dublin office. With a minimum of five years of experience, the successful candidate will contribute to an established company, gaining invaluable skills and experiences across various disciplines with mentorship support. This role provides exposure to diverse project types within the organization, offering a clear trajectory for career growth.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure projects adhere to agreed-upon timescales, quality standards, and budgetary constraints.
• Plan and oversee CAD documentation of design work in collaboration with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians.
• Attend client meetings and liaise with other professionals as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance and Management Systems, as well as relevant health and safety legislation.
• Coordinate work with other members of the project team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 years of post-graduate experience.
• Previous consultancy experience preferred.
• High-energy professional with excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Experience engaging with external stakeholders, clients, and subcontractors.
• Working knowledge of Public Works Contracts is advantageous.
• Flexibility, teamwork, efficiency, and the ability to work independently are essential.
• Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings.
• Valid driver's license required.
