Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Ecologist with a minimum of 2 years' professional experience to join our client's growing team. Based in Cork, this is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in both the field and office environments. You will play a key role in habitat and bird surveys, contributing to impactful ecological assessments and reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct habitat and bird surveys, ensuring high-quality data collection.
- Undertake fieldwork across a variety of locations across Ireland.
- Write clear, comprehensive ecological reports that meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on various ecological and environmental projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ecological regulations and best practices.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' professional experience as an Ecologist, preferably in a consultancy, with a focus on habitats and birds.
- Strong fieldwork skills and a passion for working outdoors.
- Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail.
- Full clean Irish driver's license.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
