Role Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join a Building & Infrastructure Team. This role will be based in the Galway office and is ideal for candidates with a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in delivering complex projects. A Level 8 qualification in Engineering or a related field is required, with a Project Management-specific qualification considered advantageous. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the technical and financial delivery of projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.

Requirements:

  • Level 8 qualification in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and quality standards (QMS/EMS/OHSAS).
  • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting and invoicing.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in construction contracts and consultancy engagement conditions.
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, managing time, scope, and resources.
  • Ensure compliance with quality management systems and health and safety regulations.
  • Manage project financials, including cash flow forecasting, invoicing, and debt management.
  • Maintain clear communication channels with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all project designs are prepared by competent personnel and independently checked.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive the adoption of innovative project management strategies, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine project management frameworks and processes.
