Senior Ecologist

We are hiring a Senior Ecologist to lead survey work and support national planning efforts through biodiversity assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and manage habitat and protected species surveys.

• Prepare high-quality ecological reports and EIAR inputs.

• Mentor junior ecologists and coordinate fieldwork.

• Liaise with planning and engineering teams on mitigation strategies.

• Ensure regulatory compliance throughout project delivery.

Requirements:

• 4–6 years of experience in ecological consultancy.

• In-depth knowledge of Irish biodiversity and planning systems.

• Degree in ecology, biology, or environmental science.

• Experience preparing reports for planning and development.

• Full, clean Irish/EU driving license.
