Botanist

We’re hiring a Botanist to deliver high-quality botanical surveys and support EIAR and NIS documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct habitat mapping and plant species surveys.

• Support ecological baseline studies for EIAs.

• Identify invasive and protected species.

• Assist in biodiversity strategy development.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of botanical experience in consultancy.

• Excellent knowledge of Irish plant species and habitat classification systems (e.g., Fossitt, Annex I).

• Degree in botany, ecology, or plant science.

• Proficient in QGIS and habitat mapping tools.

• Full, clean Irish/EU driving license.
