Fehily Timoney and Company (FT) is one of Ireland’s largest indigenous consultancies specialising in Sustainable Infrastructure, Circular Economy, Environment, Energy and Renewables. 

FT is a recognised leader in Circular Economy consultancy, with specialist expertise in waste and resource management, including waste prevention, minimisation, recycling, energy recover and residual disposal. We deliver consultancy services to both public and private sector clients across the solid waste, bio-waste, and sludge management sectors in Ireland.

FT is recruiting a Senior Engineer to join the Circular Economy and Environment team in our Cork, Dublin or Carlow office. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the growth of the business while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team. This role provides exposure to a wide range of projects across the Circular Economy and Environment sectors.

What would my main responsibilities be in this role?

• Ensure project delivery aligns with agreed timelines, quality standards and budgets
• Plan and oversee the preparation of CAD design documentation in collaboration with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians
• Attend on-site meetings with clients and project stakeholders
• Maintain adherence to internal Quality Assurance and Management Systems
• Ensure all work complies with applicable health and safety regulations
• Coordinate  effectively with other members of the project team

Am I the right person for this role?

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Minimum of 8 years post-graduate professional experience
• Proven experience in project management
• Strong proficiency in managing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIAs)
• Highly motivated and energetic professional
• Excellent communication, organisational and analytical abilities
• Skilled in liaising with external stakeholder, clients, sub-contractors
• Adaptable and collaborative team player
• Capable of working independently and managing tasks efficiently
• Holds a full, clean driving licence
