Senior Environmental Engineer – Civil & Environmental Engineering
We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Engineer to join a growing Circular Economy and Environment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and management of design work and CAD documentation, working closely with Project Engineers and Engineering Technicians.
The role involves participating in site meetings with clients and other professionals, coordinating project activities and deliverables, liaising with clients, external stakeholders and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with quality assurance, project management, health and safety and environmental requirements.
The position focuses on sustainable infrastructure, waste and resource management, and environmental engineering projects. Responsibilities include contributing to the design and delivery of infrastructure across the solid waste, bio-waste and sludge management sectors.
Experience in the design or delivery of anaerobic digestion facilities, solid waste management facilities or public realm projects would be highly desirable.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years’ relevant post-graduate professional experience.
- Proven project management experience.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Experience coordinating projects and working with multidisciplinary teams.
- A strong understanding of quality assurance, management, health and safety and environmental requirements
