Role & Company:

In your role as an Environmental Consultant you will get the opportunity to cover many aspects of environmental consultancy, from assisting with gas and groundwater monitoring, through to taking a wide variety of environmental samples and supervising site investigations.

Following your initial training you will travel to various sites across the country, allowing you to broaden your knowledge and experience within different geographical regions. On a day to day basis you might find yourself contributing to onsite sample collections or assisting with desk studies and site investigations reports on a wide variety of projects in the fields of waste / resource efficiency and environmental management.

Qualifications & Experience:

This role is best suited to candidates with some, (perhaps limited) working experience in environmental consultancy or other related industries. An additional interest in waste management, environmental permitting, and air quality or noise assessment will also strengthen your application.

In addition to this experience you will also have;

* BSc qualification in the environmental sciences or chemistry
* A good understanding of waste management and environmental sampling
* Report preparation/ writing skills
* Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers and clients
* A practical approach to work – you should enjoy being out on site
* A full UK drivers licence

You will be supported in your role with internal training and your career development opportunities will be well tracked through a personalised plan.
