Your role in the team 

You are the engineering piece of the puzzle.  You are in charge of designing and producing the new versions of our outdoor immersion units. You work with a  team of market analysts, architects, local partners, planning experts, production and installation technicians to design, produce and install Zooboxes in areas of great scenery. In 2018, you will travel to Canada for a month to produce, in partnership with our Canadian team,  the 3D plans of our new generation of Zooboxes, before coming back and helping us launch production. 35 units are planned to be produced in Ireland this year and new orders for 2019 are coming in. You will also spearhead the R&D in partnership with international institutions.

Salary: €30 000 - €50 000 yearly

Task description:

● List customers' needs and desires by consulting the market analysts and feedback from Canadian team.
● Assess market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products. 
● List the partner’s needs by consulting the booking and maintenance staff
● List the target cost and financial needs by consulting the financial advisors and sale director
● List the production needs by consulting the purchase manager and installation team
● Upgrade products design in line with the proposed product requirements 
● Hire production/installation staff with CEO by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
● Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
● Complete production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
● Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
● Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
● Ensure units maintenance by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
● Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
● Resolve personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
● Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
● Conduct research programs; applying knowledge of product design
● Maintain product and company reputation by complying with government regulations.
● Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting special service.
● Store product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating location database.
● Prepare product for shipment by verifying location; directing movement to staging area; resolving problems.
● Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
