A rare client side opportunity with a leading UK property developer, this position will be playing a pivotal role in the organisation’s sustainability team, and would suit a candidate with a strong analytical background and a breadth of knowledge across sustainability in the built environment.

About you:

You will be a sustainability professional with a strong background working with a diverse range of sustainability datasets, ideally with a background working in the CRE space. As the role is client side you will have refined stakeholder engagement skills, as you will be working as part of a small team at a high level, regularly liaising with c-suite stakeholders.

About the role:

The role will be a 12 month FTC maternity cover with responsibility for managing and reporting the organisations energy & sustainability data, adhering to various sustainability reporting frameworks. Alongside the analytical piece you will also be directly involved in delivering the organisation’s sustainability strategy from their community strategy to tenant engagement campaigns.

Role & responsibilities

* Managing the resource efficiency databases and data flows
* Managing CRC and ESOS submissions, and coordinating external consultants
* Managing sustainability reporting including GRESB and CDP
* Delivering on the energy bureau side, validating energy and water data and liaising with utility brokers
* Working with internal and external teams to identify and agree performance initiatives with the managed property portfolio
* Creating and implementing an EMS
* Developing and delivering the community and social value strategy
* Assisting with the production of the annual sustainability report
