The European Energy Centre (EEC) has been working since 1975 to promote best practice in Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency education through training courses and conferences with the United Nations Environment Programme and universities worldwide. TRAINING

The EEC has been running training courses for nearly 40 years, gathering along the way the knowledge required for professionals and students to pursue a career in the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency sectors. The professional short training courses are held in collaboration with universities around Europe and further afield and are taught by leading university academics and practical experts who each have over 20 years of experience within the industry. GALILEO MASTER CERTIFICATE

The internationally recognised Galileo Master Certificate is awarded to successful participants who pass the GMC exam. It provides a clear gateway to a career in the renewable energy sector as important evidence of the theoretical and practical skills required of professionals and quality technicians in the industry. The teaching, which leads to the GMC, is based on the European Project EMTEU (Energy Management Technician in Europe). Previous recipients of the GMC include representatives from Mitsubishi, Siemens, British Army, Solar Power Scotland, Nestlé, Coca Cola, and NATO amongst others.

PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP PROGRAMME

The EnergyCPD Membership Programme aims to build on the EEC’s experience and commitment to working with its partners to promote best practice in Renewable Energy educational activities. EnergyCPD supports and encourages professionals in pursuing Approved Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in order to respond to the growing pace of change and increasing need for dialogue between professionals in the global Renewable Energy Sector. The Programme ensures that members keep up to date with increasing global demands and new innovations in the industry, while remaining at the forefront of their fields.
